Dream Walker

When I last went out in search of staves that spoke to me in unique and magical ways I came across this beauty. Two aspen shoots tying into one root cluster. I knew it needed to be something special. To keep the two from smacking together when walking around with it I used some raw hide I've had for a while and from there the inspiration for what you see came to me. The deer skull is from a buck my grandfather harvested many years ago. The skull woven into the dream catcher is from a rock chuck. The dream catcher and everything that is hanging from the deer skull is all artificial sinew, but it doesn't make this shamanistic beauty any less appealing.
