Drawing deep inspiration from historical artifacts and the rich, mythical aesthetics of high fantasy—from medieval battle gear to the timeless craftsmanship of The Lord of the Rings—I build functional art designed to look and feel as though it was forged in another age. Every piece is approached with traditional techniques and heirloom-quality materials. Whether shaping hand-tooled leather armor, turning hardwood grips and rustic home wares, or striking hot steel on the anvil, my goal is to create works that carry weight, history, and story. I blend historical authenticity with imaginative design, producing custom creations for collectors, reenactors, and lovers of fantasy who appreciate true hand-forged craftsmanship.

For the last eight years I have spent most of my time as a maker forging knives, axes, tomahawks, pole arms, decorative iron work, and jewelry. That said, my maker's journey started over 25 years ago when I began making bows and arrows from any bendy stick, string, and straight twig I could get my hands on. That turned into a lifelong passion that has led to the production of dozens of quality-made self bows and untold quantities of arrows, as well as an interest in general woodwork. Eventually, my archery passion pushed me to learn leather work, which would allow me to craft the archery tackle I still needed. To date, I've been doing leather work for around 21 years, mostly making sheaths, belt bags, satchels, bracers, quivers, and other odds and ends. The drive to create all of my archery equipment from scratch is what drove me to start blacksmithing, since at the time the only thing I couldn't make were the arrowheads. In the last couple of years, I was also given the opportunity to learn flint knapping, allowing me to create primitive arrows with stone points, as well as stone knives. I also started sewing around three years ago so I could design and create my own tunics, hoods, and cloaks. Recently, took up sand casting as well to create pendants, rings, and knife fittings primaraly to supplement my other creations. Everything I make is from scratch, and goes from my sketchbook to reality here in my home shop. I love doing custom work and am eager to get started on your next family heirloom.
